Poetry: Square peg

Due to the flooding in Queensland, I'm going to be very, very busy at work for quite some time. So my blogs aren't entirely neglected in that time, I'm going to dust off and post some of my old poetry. If you leave a comment, I may not get back to you for a while.

Square peg

round hole

My peg

no hole.

Not square

star shaped

rhomboid

wrong.

A piece

of a puzzle

where pices

don't fit.

Trying to find a pattern

where my piece will fit

without sanding

grinding

cutting

polishing

finishing

without it being the end of me.
